GLOBAL NETWORK
The ATAG organisation is deeply rooted in the ATAG Allgemeine Treuhand AG, founded in Basel in 1917. The company began cooperation with Arthur Young in 1960, leading to a change of name in 1991: ATAG Allgemeine Treuhand AG becoming ATAG Ernst & Young. The standards on independence introduced internationally at the turn of the millennium meant that consultancy and auditing could no longer be offered under the same corporate umbrella. Consequently, in 2001 the advisory services for wealthy private clients were transferred to ATAG Private Client Services AG (ATAG PCS). Global orientation has invariably been a cornerstone of our operations, whether since our establishment, within the international network of EY (Ernst & Young), or nowadays in our uncompromising commitment to independence. Over those many decades, networks and connections have evolved that are unsurpassed in quality, depth and scope. Simultaneously, a profound understanding of diverse cultures and structures across all continents has developed in equal measure.
